Location

WiseWebs hosts all of its web services in the Interhouse Redbus II (Meridian Gate) London Docklands UK, which is a 18,400 square foot IDC (Internet Data Center) facility.

Redbus II contains first class infrastructure including, state-of-the-art fiber optics, a redundant self contained cooling system, robust scalable high-capacity power supplies, gas-based fire protection and enviromental controls.

24x7 technical support 365 days a year and unmatched levels of security keep Redbus II as one of the most secure first class data facilities in the world.

Physical Security

All Redbus Interhouse datacentres have totally comprehensive 24/7 security including security barriers, 24x7x365 monitoring by on-site personnel to include visual verification of all persons entering the building, CCTV video camera surveillance and a security breach alarm provides the control room with information.

Access

Access to the building, data floors and individual area's are via individually programmed Proximity Access Cards (PAC), usage of the PAC is logged centrally by time and date. To gain access to the building, the card holders digital photograph will be displayed on security systems which are continuously monitored by on-site technicians. The technicians will then verify the information and only when satisfied, allow access.

Power

A guaranteed redundant high-capacity, stable and reliable power supply, with easy scalable expansion in the future. A minimum of 1Kw per square metre secure power is available, plus on-site generation which can deal with both customer and plant load whilst recharging the UPS.

All facilities are built to at least an N+1 standard; put simply, this means that if two generators are required to provide non-stop power, then there'll be three installed.

Fire Detection/Suppression

Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus (VESDA) is installed in every facility. These highly sensitive aspirating smoke detectors are linked to a Building Management system which is continually monitored from a network operations centre. This is coupled with a gas based fire retardant that is environmentally friendly, to put out fires instantly, without damaging equipment.

Air Conditioning

To ensure optimum performance, all data floors are maintained at a constant 21°C ± 2°C and relative humidity is kept at 50% ± 10%. Both are continually monitored.

Building Management System (BMS)

All Redbus Interhouse facilities operate computerised building management systems that monitor and remotely operate sensors covering electrical, mechanical, fire detection and leak detection systems.

Backbone Carriers

Our servers are connected to many backbone carriers including, Level(3), Globalcrossing, NTT, Telia, Tiscali, Enta, Euroconnex and Linx.
